Review on Dopp Regatta Leather Cardex Convertible by Marc Sortijas

I've had one for 25 years and it's showing some wear. It was my favorite bag so I decided to buy a new one. Well, the biggest problem with the slightly newer design is that the credit cards "just" fit in the slots, with no slack on either side. So as soon as the first (difficulty) enters, the second is tightened even more, and so on, until the fifth is practically stuck. As a result, you can no longer simply move cards with a thumb. So you really should fight with 2 fingers. Why they didn't leave a millimeter or two on each side amazes me. Maybe there is a way to stretch the cracks? Help.
