When I need heat shrink tubing, I go to Wirefy first. In this case, I was let down by pre-cut heat shrink tubing of various sizes. Even if I use heat shrink tubing, I like to add a piece of heat shrink tubing for extra strain relief. It is necessary? Who knows, but I do. The problem I had with this pack of different sizes was that I started installing shrink butt connectors. Unfortunately, these precut pieces are exactly the same length as shrink butt connectors, defeating my ability to expand on the strain relief properties. Yes I could add a second piece of pipe but.
