Dangerous - safety hazard - avoid

After one time in the pit on a light flame, the bricks towards the center cracked. I picked one up the next morning after they cooled off, (I live in 80 degree weather btw so this wasn't an extreme temp thing). It exploded in my hand and split my fingers wide open. I'm not talking a little cut, I'm talking about 1/4 deep, blood everywhere, maybe needs stitches.It's beautiful, but it's very poor quality glass. Avoid, especially if you have kids. This stuff is dangerous. This descriptor"Fire glass will not discolor, melt, deteriorate or produce toxic fumes." - is just a Lie
