I pressed the lock button on the key fob while the key fob was firmly packed in my pocket and the car doors were locking and unlocking. I assume the bag is NOT blocking the signal as advertised. REVISED: Well I checked the instructions which I forgot to read after receiving this product. Turns out you need to put your key fob in the correct pocket of your bag (white slot). When I put it in the right pocket it worked properly. My apologies for initially misrepresenting this product due to my own sloppiness.
