I bought these wipes rather than replacing previously used ZEISS wipes based on customer reviews that claimed they were thinner and therefore better and larger. This was a big disappointment. These napkins are in no way inferior to ZEISS! And here's why: The fact that they have more liquid is very true; However, this is a problem when it leaves marks that you have to wipe separately after each use. This is because the excess liquid (alcohol) doesn't have time to evaporate before forming a heavy, blotchy film on your lenses (plus, is that amount of alcohol really good for your coated lenses?!). Packaging: Although ZEISS Pads are shipped in a paper/foil bag, they are wrapped in plastic foil. This is bad because 1) the plastic in your pocket (where you're supposed to carry it) makes an annoying crunching noise and 2) the plastic isn't eco-friendly. USA and ZEISS are made in China.
