Review on 🚁 Neoteck Waterproof Protractor Inclinometer Helicopter: Accurate and Durable Measurement Tool for Aircraft by Craig Lovro

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good tool in the arsenal.πŸ›

βœ” First, the instrument we received was factory calibrated and accurate enough for our purposes. The manual will show you how to calibrate it manually BUT doing so will override the factory calibration.! πŸ‘€ This was tested with our 2' and 4' levels and the numbers were right where they should be for our use. βœ” The manual lists accuracy as: A.) plus/minus 0.1 degrees at 0 degrees and 90 degrees. B.) plus/minus 0.2 at other angles. C.) Displays the angle to hundredths. ( 0.01 )βœ” We've used this for all kinds of DIY projects, from furniture and woodwork to welding steel frames. I'm sure we'll find a use for it. β—βœ” This electronic level comes with 2 AAA batteries, which need to be installed by loosening 3 tiny screws on the back cover. βœ” When it first turned on and showed "ERR Message" I thought I had a lemon but the device can't be tilted forward or backward or you'll get a horrible error message. Once you press the "Hold" button, you can tilt it back to read the measurement. βœ” Because the base is only a few inches long, it can be difficult to get an accurate measurement if the surface is rough or uneven. We'll just place it on level 4' and check from there. I also like that it has a fairly powerful magnet on the bottom. Good: 1.) Very accurate. 2.) Strong magnet at the bottom. 3.) Backlight for 30 seconds. 4.) Comes with case and belt loop. it.5.) Low battery indicator. Not so good: (Nothing yet.βœ”) Not a big deal, but: 1.) I'd rather have a latch on the battery door than three screws. Just my preference. 2.) Possibly move the hold button up.
