I just received this monitor so these are my first impressions. The image quality is solid and I am happy with this purchase. I love Samsung monitors including this one. The amazing feature of this monitor is the ability to rotate it 90 degrees, but for some stupid reason you can't do that with the stand that this monitor comes with. You must find another way to mount this monitor to use this feature. There were a few other things that were a bit silly: - The base seems a bit flimsy and it took me a while to figure out how to assemble this. The charts weren't particularly helpful, but after about 15 minutes things finally started to fall into place. (C'mon laugh. I think I deserve it!) - The buttons for adjusting picture settings are conveniently located on the front of the monitor. It's a welcome change from Samsung's usual habit of placing them out of sight on the side of my other monitors. However, pressing the buttons requires quite a bit of force, and the entire monitor moves as you do so. This leads to a very unsatisfactory feeling when adjusting the brightness etc. I find myself using my other hand to steady the monitor while adjusting it.- Power and video cables are short (6ft I guess) . I couldn't put the monitor where I wanted and ended up having to rearrange my desk so it was ready to use. That being said, I would recommend this monitor overall. It's visually appealing and I'm really excited to put it on my desktop, especially considering the price and the fact that it has a 1920 x 1200 resolution.
