A few years ago I bought a set of inexpensive nuts from Revain. Although they looked good, after 2 years the nuts began to rust on the outside. I had trouble removing nuts from 7 point sockets when changing wheels. Eventually one of the nuts buckled when I tried to remove it - I spent quite a while trying to get the nut off the machine and then spent an hour trying to get the nut out of its socket. Because McGard is both chromed and painted. , they shouldn't rust, so I don't expect to have any problems with them for the life of my machine. They cost extra $$$.
