Oh man we are in love with this amulet! We bought this amulet for 4 years. an old daughter who loves Disney's Sofia the First. She asked Santa for an amulet and it was the most authentic, not fancy amulet we could find and at an amazing price. We knew we wanted to go the route of an actual decoration, not some plastic that makes noise and looks like a toy. This amulet was perfect for our needs. I was amazed when I first opened the box. It came in a tiny purple box with a bow, and inside the box was an amulet in a transparent purple pouch. I knew right away that my daughter was going to freak out on Christmas morning, and I was right. She fell in love with it immediately and has been wearing it every day since. Because the pieces aren't soldered together like more expensive jewelry, the amulet fell off the chain at one point, but that was a quick and easy fix by re-hooking it and squeezing the part that had come loose a bit. We've talked about being more careful with it and we haven't had any more problems, but I'm thinking of taking it to a jeweler to have it soldered because she loves it so much and I don't want it to go away again triggers may be damaged. Overall, this is a fantastic amulet that gets compliments from both children and adults. It's big (on the bigger side, not small and delicate), it sparkles and shines and looks special. We are very happy with our purchase.
