Ideal for pre-wiring a house during renovation. No unboxing issues (in other words, no tangles or tangles). Make sure you have good wire cutters, the bundle is thick with four 12 gauge wires! That may be overkill for my speakers/systems but now I know I have extra capacity and saved a lot of money doing it myself. Haven't plugged anything in yet so can't comment on the sound quality, but judging by the thickness of the case and the 12 gauge cable I'm not expecting any playback issues. Personally I wouldn't try to install them already with Sheetrock to stand it up as the wire is heavy and I think it's difficult to pull out. I'm not saying it's not possible, I just think it can be frustrating.
