NO soft silicone bristles. Feels more like semi-flexible plastic

The product came in a dirty looking ziplock bag. The bristles are not made of silicone as described, but semi-flexible plastic. It feels good on the scalp but I'm concerned about the hollow grip. Leaving it in the shower might not be a good idea as I assume mold will probably grow in the hollow part of the brushes.
