I knew before I bought it that this was a small item. I think a lot of reviewers were disappointed that they didn't know how small it was before buying it. In the end, while it's still a great item, the perfect representation of my personal favorite Gengar Pokemon and the color rotation when it lights up is fun. I have one that comes with a USB cable and runs on either that or small watch batteries. I would advise you to check the type before buying, I don't want this item to run on batteries that you have to keep changing so check the version you choose. I find the silver base to be my least favorite part. It looks like some kind of weird UFO and doesn't quite match that it's a Pokeball, so I'd like to see something more Pokemon-friendly designed for it. Also, it took me forever to figure it out, but you can adjust the color or make it blink and cycle through the colors. At the very front of the base is an amazingly sensitive touch sensor, and it just takes a light touch to stop the blinking and cycle through the steady light options. I've seen a lot of people asking for this and here's how it works for me so I hope this helps some of you.
