My grandson loves this playmat/ball pit. He stops crying every time I put him on this playmat. He has so much fun every time he is there and everywhere he looks there is always something to see to help develop his neck muscles. Hanging animals and leaves help him develop good hand-eye coordination. His big brother loves it too as it converts from a playmat to a little play area which HE LOVES as a toddler. This is definitely something both boys can use as they grow up. Very stimulating, educational and easy to set up. The quality is good and the price was just right.
