Voltage readings are fairly accurate. However, the current reading is a lie. I have measured the current between the PV and the controller with the built in multimeter and the controller keeps showing that it is 0.4A higher than the actual current. Similarly, metering between the controller and the battery consistently reports 0.7A higher than the actual current delivered to the battery. This applies to both the display on the device and the remote display of the MT50. I also checked the PC app and it also reports incorrect recent data. These incorrect current readings give you a "good feeling" about assuming your PV modules are producing more current than they actually are, and also make you believe that the controller's MPPT is efficient at converting surge voltage to current . However, I don't need a device that reports incorrect data. Since all EPEVER MPPT charge controllers are essentially the same, I bet they all behave the same way. Everyone else please take measurements on your device and prove me wrong, maybe this is just an isolated incident.
