I was in the process of replacing my old leaky bread maker which did all the kneading for me before moving on to the Hand finished reading about people using kitchen utensils. I never thought about it because the J-hook that comes with the machine doesn't stop the dough from rising. This hook is perfect for my 23 year old KSM5 and works much better than the J hook. I can now bake more loaves at once with little effort, knead in half the time and instead only have to keep one appliance out of two - double cheers!
