It was almost a blessing that we tore the old antenna off with a low hanging branch on our way out of the campsite. Again we forgot to put it in place. It has higher reception than the original that was on our 1999 Fleetwood Bounder. Although we mounted it on the original bracket, we don't really need to lift it to get good reception (if channels can be found). Don't wait for your antenna to fly. Upgrade now if your budget allows!
