I specifically chose this surge protector for a fairly limited space (shelf in a bookshelf) where I connected a number of electronic components. Some of these components have these large plug adapters, and generally long, narrow surge protectors prevent these adapters from being plugged into outlets side by side. In this situation you usually have to choose a wider tread, which wasn't a good option in this application, or omit connectors. The solution was the ECHOGEAR rotary connector configuration. I was able to rotate the plugs and place these large adapters next to each other. Exactly what I needed. Let me come back to the build quality. It is excellent. While I hope a surge protector will never be needed, I'm sure it will do the trick.
