These may have been designed for pills, but they can be used for lots of things. They are big enough for many kinds of meds, and also for keeping small parts attached to things so you don't have to look for them. If you keep the o-ring in good shape they are basically water-tight when the top is screwed on tight. I use the ring meant for the keychain as a means of hanging it from a nail. They are lightweight but well-made. I am keeping a tiny screwdriver and screws for repairing glasses in one and attaching it inside the glove compartment so it's ready when I need it.
