They are very sharp but only use the tip area!

later I make pom poms that need to be cut through many layers of loops of yarn. They were well rated by others and I bought. You work with hints just for me. With a snapping motion, like a seam ripper. So I originally used an open ended one, thinking it would work like regular scissors. But they only work in the tip area where they are serrated I think. So they wore out within 2-2.5 weeks. I can send anywhere to have it fixed, but ugh! And then just use the hints. But don't know. I'm going to buy a different type or brand anyway.
