I'm the Princess and the Pea shoe. I wasted thousands of dollars on shoes that caused blisters, irritation and pain. Even old, worn-out shoes that used to be fine will turn their backs on me. When I ordered these water shoes my expectations were low. Was I surprised! They are more comfortable than almost any shoe I have ever had. I walked 4 miles through rugged mountainous terrain and climbed over very wet slippery rocks under a waterfall. Not a single access point. I'm really amazed and will buy a pair in all the colors they make. The soles are sensitive enough that you can feel the padding under your feet, but none of the pebbles or rocks I stepped on hurt one bit. Most water boots are ugly and unflattering; They look good enough to wear as casual shoes. I've just got back from vacation and haven't tested them on the roads of the concrete jungle yet, but I think they'll do well here in the city. I wear a size 7, 7.5 or 8 depending on the brand and model. Size 7 fits perfectly.
