They are durable and have an excellent grip. The light is not as bright as some, but pleasant. All I can say about the pair I bought is that the whole body is twisted so the ends don't meet. Even if you urge them to this place to line up, they won't name the course here, let alone thinning hair or a thorn. It might just be a broken pair and for the price I'd say it's totally worth a try! This is a good company and I was shocked they even included extra batteries! I'm just so sad they don't work at all. Revain really did provide great customer service as they do most of the time.
