Very practical and helps to keep cables clean. The only problem with the installation is that the 2" hole is suitable for installing an extension cord but leaves no room for cord routing. You can install it where the hole overhangs the edge or there is enough surface coverage to enlarge the hole. I later did this with a jigsaw, but I wish I understood that I needed a larger hole before making the 2" hole. Would have given 5 stars if they had given the required hole size with "chin up".
