I love the lamps. I like the height and especially the shape as they take up less space on the bedside tables. I had another touch lamp on one side that worked amazing and it didn't matter where you touched it! Unfortunately, these two lamps only have ONE point on the entire lamp that turns the lamp on or off. I've tried everything and absolutely nothing works except ONE small dot which is a small silver button on the base. Not what I was looking for. However, I unboxed them all, assembled them and placed them on my coasters before trying them out. Shame on me because I know better. Of course it's a lot harder to take them all apart and try to put them back in the box to get them back, so I'm hesitant to keep them. They'll be in the spare room once I find the ones that work properly. If you don't care about the touch part then these are definitely good lights for the price. If you want a REAL touch lamp, stay away from them.
