I thought it was a nice touch that put me off buying bin bags for a week. Of course, the bags, which each cost three times as much as bags from the supermarket, weren't three times better. I was wrong. These are about ten times better. A couple of nice things about these bags: First, I've never had a tear in the almost 1 year I've been using them. You can smartly stuff the trash into the bucket and pull out the bag without tearing it. I also didn't have a glitch that caused anything to seep into the glass. no Even. Once. The only time I've had to clean the inside of a trash can was when one of my kids threw things in before I could put a new trash bag in it. Second, these packages fill the entire shopping cart. No need for stretch (yes, garbage bag companies sell us fewer pockets as a "feature"). I've found that I can fill the trash can with about 25% more trash before having to take the trash out. The only downside to these bags is that they don't absorb or deodorize odor. The jar smells like what was in your bin, but since the bag doesn't let anything through, the smell dissipates quickly, and you can use other deodorizing products if you really need to.
