This worked with our Craftsman 1/2HP garage door opener with no problems. Programming was easy and I haven't had any range issues. I want to share this very important piece of information: DO NOT USE LED LIGHTS IN YOUR GARAGE DOOR OPENER. *** UPDATE: As some reviews indicate, not all LED light bulbs cause interference. ***I was very frustrated because these remotes don't work unless I'm more than a few feet from the opener - I made sure I programmed them correctly so I really thought they were bugged somehow. I was about to contact Amazon to send them back. Before I did that, however, I decided to troubleshoot online and found a YouTube video that says LED bulbs interfere with opening the garage door — something to do with frequencies. but at that moment I was on my way to the garage to change the lightbulbs. A YouTube video recommends using ordinary light bulbs or CFLs - after that there will be no more problems.
