If you're looking for a high quality product with a minimalist design that's incredibly easy to install and will keep the kids busy in the back seat, then this is for you. The tablet holder is durable. The viewing angle is easily adjustable. Depending on the tablet protective case, there may be problems with the maximum protection of this tablet holder. One of our tablets has a very thin polyurethane coating (minimum protection) and is fine, the other device has a much stronger case design (child protection) which needs to be removed to effectively secure it in this device holder. Without measuring them, I would estimate that the tablet clips are about 0.25 inches thick on either side. We mainly used this product for long trips so removing the case wasn't a problem, but if you need to use it frequently for short trips, removing the tablet from the case can be a headache every time. Significant summer temperatures didn't seem to affect the load-bearing capacity of the joint between the car's headrest linkage and the tablet's support structure - functions akin to adjusting a car's interior rearview mirror (I didn't bother to remove them from the car as they are unobtrusive). ). Overall very happy with this product and pleased with the value for money.
