Although I'm a newbie and have only done one overnight trip with it so far I think I can easily last up to a week with this pack. It comes down to knowing how to pack. If you are just starting out, you can purchase this pack. I bought it because of the price, but the many good reviews played a role in my choice. Not knowing if hiking would be good for me in the long run, I didn't want to spend hundreds on a pack that you only use once. This makes this pack ideal for those who are just starting out and are purchasing all (or most) of the gear they need for their first trip. I feel this backpack has been of high quality so far and I think it will last me for years if I don't change backpacks first to lighten my load. In addition, this backpack helps me to know what I want from a backpack, e.g. B. zip pockets and the like. Pros: • Looks sturdy • Separate back sleeping compartment (for bottom duvet) • 2 side pockets • 2 pockets in lid Cons: • Heavy • Water bottle pockets can be tipped forward but are perfect for 1 liter smart water bottles • The mesh pocket on the back is small, I would have liked a larger zipped or mesh pocket but that would mean more weight.
