With the digitizer and home button already attached, replacing them is much easier. The glass fits my Ipad 2 perfectly. Adhesive was also applied around the perimeter of the glass and the protective film was easy to remove thanks to the well sized tabs. The glass is also covered on both sides with a protective film. (Yes, I completely removed the old glue, cleaned the surfaces, etc.) The bond of the glue between the glass and the frame is weak and allows the glass to come loose or shift. This happens when I place my iPad upright on the night charger. The glass came off the frame the next day. I can slide it back fairly easily and it stays in place when picked up or laid flat. I recommend considering purchasing additional/upgraded tapes when purchasing this product. There are no complaints about the equipment, except
