Review on New Balance Black Men's Iconic Athletic Sneakers by Don Barbee

The New Balance 574 was a great classic, nothing more! Attached is a photo of my classic New Balance 574 in burgundy on the right (10 years old!) and new shoes on the left, which I put back in the box and returned immediately. Note the thick suede on the shoe on the right, and the new shoe is made of thin faux suede, is matte in color and looks like it was nicked from a bowling alley. Look at the picture on the left and you can visually see that it is sooooo small! When my old 574s were new they looked so pretty I could wear them to a casual date. The new 574s look like cheap fakes with poor fit, color and style. 10 years ago I bought 574 originals for $90 and it was a great deal. I got the new 574s from Revain and for half that price and they were so uncomfortable that if someone gave me them for free I wouldn't wear them. Complete garbage! Come back!
