I've tried everything from using different cables to buying a new power strip, switching all my devices to different outlets, and USB devices to different USB ports on my computer. I also moved the cables, device, and mic to experiment with feedback audio. There was a constant high frequency hiss that got through to me no matter what I was doing. This raised the tone and annoyed my friends. It was definitely unacceptable for streaming. I connected it to Cloudlifter and SM7B. I figured if I went all out on the mic I'd try to save money on the mixer, especially since I wouldn't be doing anything out of the ordinary - I just needed an interface to send the XLR to a USB port on my computer. .To confirm that the mixer was the culprit, I controlled directly from the device. I was even able to isolate zero input audio from the mic (Cloudlifter). The ringing disappeared after turning off the phantom power. I can forgive the product for not having a feature I don't want, but I needed it to work so I could be loud enough to hear it. Shure SMB7 is -60dB, so phantom power had to be on for me to use Cloud Lift. Will never buy from Pyle again. They made a cool little block but it's defective and I feel cheated.
