These lights look very nice! They were easy to install (took about 1 hour to install all over the room and under the bed) and haven't had any issues so far. A few things to watch out for: - They will be plugged into outlets. The light illuminates approximately 5 inches from your chosen outlet. - You CANNOT cut them into different parts unless you plan to get rid of the part without insert. - The remote control has no DIY mode. It has 16 different colors, 4 additional modes and different levels of brightness. Connecting to Amazon Echo is easy! When connected, you can ask your Echos to turn them on and off and switch them to different colors. With the app you can: create custom modes, create MANY colors, set alarm lights and sync them to music. All in all they look good and are of good quality!
