Review on Receiver Transmitter Support FS GT2E Evolution by David Hayden

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works well with my short-range combat robotics project! Here is some failsafe information.

I have used this receiver in my 3lb fighter robot within 5 meters of the FlySky i6x transmitter. I had no problems with signal loss or connectivity. Draw on first try, just no confirmation. Then turn the transmitter on and off. It also survives being covered with hot glue (to protect against vibration and shock). (The following is used in another review of mine, but applies to this receiver as well). a problem that would have been easily solved if there had been proper guidance or guidance. Unlike other FlySky receivers I've used, the iBUS output doesn't follow the transmitter's programming if the signal is lost, it just stops transmitting data. This was initially very confusing in my bot project as it was originally designed to work with other receivers that follow the "Fail Tolerance" settings in the transmitter menu. I had to change the Arduino library I'm using to accommodate this. For those having trouble detecting a loss of signal on a custom controller or Arduino, this transmitter simply stops outputting iBUS data when the signal is lost. The transmitter's fail-safe settings tell him nothing.
