The chip in these fobs will not open the sunroof window on my 2002 Jeep Liberty so this button on the fobs is non-functional. The information provided also said that if you have a working key fob you can program it yourself, but for 2002-2004 Jeep Liberty models you CANNOT program them yourself and will have to pay to have the key fob programmed PROFESSIONALLY. Your car will not start without a key fob because the immobilizer is part of the fob and not part of the key. Having had no choice but to pay $120 for professional programming, the new key fobs don't even let me open the tailgate window like the original key fob does. If the key fob were fully functional, the damage to my finances wouldn't seem so great. The seller says they will refund the cost of the key fobs, but there is nothing they can do about the sunroof window issue.
