This bookshelf is basically junk. I had to stay away when I noticed that the pieces were meant to fit together without fasteners. This means that if you can get the pieces to fit together without tearing the whole thing apart, pressure will hold everything together. The holes that the slots go in are so small that you have to smash the pieces with a hammer, causing the board to splinter around the holes. It's a nightmare to align everything because nothing is measured. with arbitrary precision, which makes all of the above even worse. Avoid like the plague unless you want to give yourself a project to work on with additional tools. Just find something more expensive that uses real fasteners.
