Review on Car-EyeQ 2800 Lumens T25 3156 3157 LED Bulbs by Geoff Cooper

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not as tight as the original

First, these lamps are better than traditional tungsten lamps in terms of energy efficiency and brightness. My car is a 2nd generation Toyota Solara and I had both brake lights burned out so I wanted to use them to replace the left and right side. Here's the problem - the bulb went in easily enough and I tested that it worked (it worked) but when I tried to put the light back into the socket hole the bulb fell out and went into my tail light. Pulling it out was unbearable: sticking it over the hanger with double-sided tape and cursing for about 20 minutes. no resistance holding it in place. The original lightbulb must have been a hair thicker or something because it took some effort to pull it out as it practically fell out by gravity. I simply wrapped a layer or two around the bottom of the case and secured it neatly. I've had a ride and so far it's staying in place and working well but I'm a little annoyed that it doesn't fit properly. from the box.
