I needed a 7mm bit for a custom pulley I made to mount a stepper motor on a camera carriage. Attempting to find metric bits in Lowes or Harbor Freight will not work. Granger and other reputable industry suppliers wanted as much for a pair of drills as I paid for this entire set. When I received the kit I measured the shafts and yes some of them are undersized by as much as 0.05mm. When measuring the flutes, each of them was correct. They are HSS stamped but I can't pinpoint the Rockwell hardness. With all of this, you get what you pay for. It's like port freight. If you don't pay attention to what you do with these tools, you will be very unhappy. Your mileage may vary.
