Not recommended. I got these calipers, looked, and threw them in the trash. They look like they were stamped from a piece of thin, low-grade metal, twisted, doused in oil, stuffed in a thin plastic sleeve, and shipped. The edges are sharp and the tips are serrated. Not recommended unless you want low quality or can't afford the right tool for the job. I turned around and bought the real deal from Starrett for $140 and had to buy them individually. These things are worth investing in if you plan on using them more than once. I have to use them daily or bi-weekly so they would not work for me in any way.
