Review on LeapFrog Blues Clues Handy Tracker by Alejandro Wolf

Great that it works with other Leap Frog building blocks

So a few months ago our friend gave our daughter a LeapFrog building block set with letter blocks that can work with an e-reader but we don't. There is no electronic component yet. I saw this Blue's Clue notebook in my Line to Vine and decided to get it for two reasons. First, I loved Blue's Clues as a teenager working at a daycare back when the series first aired. Second, once I realized that this was a Leap Frog product with the same interactive blocks, I wanted to see how it would work with our daughter's existing blocks. Note, however, that it includes eight coded blocks that kids can use to follow the clues to solve the puzzle. While she's still little and doesn't quite understand how to solve the three clues to find out what Blue is trying to do (we're Disney Jr's house, not Nick Jr, so she doesn't know about Blue's clues and looks more like Mira's Detective Royal), she understands exactly how to insert blocks of code to get the device's response. But I like that it's compact enough that we can take it with us on car trips and keep them occupied.
