Bought to extract some data from a Mac hard drive but I just couldn't get it to work, I downloaded software after software and drivers and spent hours on the forums to find out to see if I could solve the problem, but I just couldn't get it to work. That's not all to say you shouldn't get it, maybe you're luckier than me, I see other people have been able to, maybe I'm just unlucky, but I realize it's there is quite fragile is a perforation in various places and mine broke at the end of point 2280, it didn't affect functionality as all the tracks were in front but I would recommend being careful with that
