Review on 🚘 Mishimoto MMRT-F2D-03BK Aluminum Degas Reservoir Tank: Ford 6.0 Powerstroke 2003-2007 Black - Compatible & Efficient by Demetrius Young

I bought this to replace an OEM Ford that had been on the truck for over 10 years and 200,000 miles. I didn't want to fail again and Mishimoto looked good and well built. The sight tube was leaking a little, and I didn't notice until I saw a build up of antifreeze on the underside of the steering shaft. When I parked the truck, I sometimes smelled of antifreeze. I tried tightening the sight tube nuts but it didn't help. I contacted Mishimoto about the warranty and they let me put teflon tape on the threads but that didn't work so they sent a new tube after I paid 15.00 shipping. I haven't received it yet, so I'm not sure if this will solve the problem. I wouldn't spend extra money on a Mishimoto and just buy a Ford OEM replacement. The Ford doesn't look as pretty, but it works and costs less. lesson learned
