I have not had the opportunity to use this item. I bought it based on the previous reviews which were great and probably true as you can see by reading them. I won't talk about the quality or how they perform in training or competition. Instead, I advise you to take a size larger than you plan to buy. I'm 5.6 and 155 pounds, according to the chest and waist chart I should be a medium. It fit well but my problem was the height. As soon as I put on the whole outfit with the zipper closed or unzipped, it started dragging down my torso. To the point where I could get a cameltoe and I'm NOT a woman. It's not that it's impossible or painful, and I suppose staying in place while cycling might help, but when I'm running I usually stay upright and raise my head slightly to try and get more to get air. I can't imagine. Run a 5/10k, half marathon or full marathon in clothes that pull you down. I don't have a broad chest or big arms. I don't lift weights. So, apart from a tiny (and I mean tiny) belly fat, I'm in good shape. I don't have a particularly long torso either. Therefore, I think that when purchasing this item, you should consider going one size larger than the manufacturer's recommendations. I don't think this has been a problem for other buyers. The construction seems to be very good. It doesn't look cheap or ordinary. The pockets on the back are large and quite large. The lining was thinner than what I use on cycling shorts, but I think that's to be expected and even desirable. You don't want to walk around feeling like you have a Pampers diaper between your legs. I gave it 3 stars only because of the sizing issue, which doesn't seem to be an issue for anyone. I would buy it again if Amazon sold the size I wanted, but I didn't want to buy from another store (they offered the size I wanted). They don't have Amazon's return policy or the "Prime" feature that I love so much. In the end I decided on something different, something more expensive.
