Review on Andersen Hinged Door Lock Actuator: Secure and Convenient Locking Solution by Eric Pruett
I'm writing about this part in general rather than whether it fits the door.
exactly what I want, one with a multi-point deadbolt lock. Other than that, this is the 4th drive I've had to order. The part is two piece and everything used to connect/attach the cross to the screw appears to be ceramic or something. This compromises the integrity of the part. Nothing else failed on the door, just that simple detail. .I'm not sure after 10+ years of this design how they wouldn't change the part being forged or welded.
