Not what I was hoping for

After using this little box for five months I finally opened it up and started it up. The computer boots fast and is as good if not better than my first laptop which was a dual core i3 back in 2012. I wish you could disable and upgrade the RAM. I would like to upgrade to 16GB instead of only having 8. But I think it will cost more for this convenience. The reason I'm only giving 3 stars is because I have a faulty circuit board that doesn't allow me to connect a hard drive to a SATA port. I tried different brands of hard drives and it didn't work. I tried different size hard drives and it didn't work. And while trying to get something to work the cable broke and had to order another one which Revain sent me overnight. larger disc. For the computer's size, speed, and smoothness, it's fine if you need an entertainment box to run Android, play games, or run a small Plex server. And if you just need something for basic office tasks or web browsing, it will do just that. Although for the latter I would recommend a good tablet or laptop. Also, I couldn't get it to work in 4K. The best resolution I can get is 1080p. Update (6/28/21) I connected an external hard drive to extract some files and put them on this computer and after connecting the hard drive my wifi got disconnected and can't connect again. After turning off the external hard drive and disconnecting it from the USB, the WIFI connection will be restored. This is a serious hardware problem. This means I can't use the front USB 3 if I also want to connect to the internet via WiFi. If you're okay with connecting directly to the internet via Ethernet, you shouldn't have any problems. But I intend to use this computer in my bedroom, away from the router. I have no way of hooking this up unless I want to run a 50ft cable through my apartment. For that reason I'm demoting this from 3 stars to 2. I think you get what you pay for. However, for the same price, I could go to another brand and get a better product. I will not go with Bilink again.
