Review on Medipore H Soft Cloth Tape - 4 Inch X 10 Yards, Pack of 2 by Reginald Holman

If you are looking for a medical grade tape to cover gauze or bandages without leaving a sticky residue or causing pain when removed AND still remain flexible and in place. that's all. I had quite a major surgery and with a large 9 inch hole sewn up I was looking for something better than standard medical tape to hold the bandages in place. On my first examination I noticed that the surgeon used this tape. held up so well and held its place so well that I knew I had used it before or seen it for sale at Right Aid or other pharmacies. With that I immediately asked if I could buy it at the pharmacy on the hospital premises . He replied that it's not for sale and the pharmacy doesn't sell it, but "I'm sure they sell something like that." I knew it wasn't, so I snapped a picture of the roll and snapped me looking for it. Sure enough, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Safeway, Walmart, etc. don't sell anything like this. They sell cloth tapes, waterproof tapes, and medical tapes. But not this. I bought anything that looked closed. to what is available in stores. It stays in place and conforms to shape, not irritating or itchy. Areas are always 2", which allows you to tear it without scissors. Also, it really doesn't tear by hand in those tearing areas because it's too strong. Even in those tearing areas, there's still a strong bond, you can so use longer strips without worrying about them tearing I have to change dressings daily which with such a large opening is tiring and usually painful but it leaves no sticky residue and comes off in one piece without the pain that cause other bandages and bands are shipped in the package.You can't find a better price.I can't recommend them enough!
