Don't expect miracles, but it works.

I forgot it was around my neck after a while when I took it off because it's comfortable. The longer it stays on, the colder it gets. It really cools you down, but be aware if you're in an area where the temperature is over 90°. You'll still be hot but the airflow will help cool you down, but when you're at 75-85 degrees it will keep you cool. It would also be perfect when you are running, biking, skating, skateboarding or working in a hot kitchen.
