Review on Stylish and Safe: Bell Bullitt πŸ‘‘ Helmet in Flow Gloss Gray/Black - Size Medium by Dave Brummet

I tried really hard to like this helmet

Great helmet and that's disappointing everything else about the helmet is bad. I love the look of this helmet so much I tried and tried to get it to work but just couldn't. Pros: Looks good Slightly lighter than the competition Cons: Significantly louder than the competition Impractical in a pocket speaker communication system. o disadvantages. Compared to Biltwell or Torc1 helmets, my biggest complaint is wind noise. It is significantly louder than other vintage helmets over 85 km/h. It's so loud you can't listen to music through headphones or the Sena communications system, making it unusable at highway speeds of 55+. Now and then an annoying whistle sounds. In comparison, I can hear well with my Biltwell Gringo and Torc1, but not at all with a bell. Given the extra noise, you'd think you'd have better ventilation as well, but I don't see a noticeable difference. It also feels different aerodynamically than other helmets both upright and tucked in, but I believe it will be an easy adjustment over time. To make the helmet quieter I've tried a bubble shield which I liked, as well as a flat shield and both are bad. I also tried Lowe's thin insulating foam to cover the air gaps but that didn't work. If you don't care about noise, use a coma system, or listen to music, this should work fine if you really want a bell helmet, which I did. . Otherwise you can get both torc1 and biltwell gringo or gringo s for the same price and fix the mentioned problems.
