Not for Aluminum Deck Railing

May have been purchased incorrectly but for cutting aluminum deck railing and railing sections with my miter saw. In short, it didn't work. It was very difficult to cut, and felt like the aluminum was melting instead of being cut. If you need to do this type of job, use a general-purpose blade with a standard carbide tip or a large-toothed aluminum carbide blade. Maybe it works better for thinner ferrous metals?
