I was able to use this mini amp with an old DVD player hooked up to a flat screen TV that didn't have a headphone jack. I simply used an adapter cable with two RCA plugs (to the DVD player) and a stereo mini plug on the other end that plugs into the stereo plug that came with the amp. There are two stereo jacks on the front panel. headphone amplifier. It has an internal lithium battery that charges with the included USB cable, and the battery lasts for several hours before needing to be recharged. (You can also plug it in for immediate use when the battery runs out). It also has a bass boost switch. It's tiny, only about two inches square (I attached it to the DVD player with double-sided tape). Depending on the sensitivity of your headphones, you can turn the volume control up quite loud. The handle is also an on/off switch and there is an LED power indicator. Note that the stereo input/output plug and jack have three prongs for use with cellphone headphones, instead of the usual two prongs found on stereo headphones. . This may not be a problem at all, but with two-pronged headphone plugs you may need to pull the plug out a bit to make proper contact with both channels. This can be annoying if you're using this in a mobile app and you might need to secure the connector.
