Review on πŸ“¦ Maximize Space and Efficiency with Lynk Adjustable Equipment Organizer Storage by Chris Horton

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I was surprised and disappointed. He is much more than he appears.

Works as intended. When I unpacked it, I was surprised and disappointed. It's a lot more than what appears online. It's not bad. This required me to find a different location for it than I originally planned. When the pieces were laid out, it reminded me of a shoe rack I bought at Wal-Mart a few years ago. I had to get rid of it because the snap bars that made up the post kept coming loose. The manufacturer has included literature on its other products, including, you guessed it, shoe racks. The assembly is simple and uncomplicated. It has metal bars forming racks that snap into plastic mounts on either side. Based on my experience with shoe racks, I'm not a fan of shelf assemblies. Unsurprisingly, I had minor build issues. You have to put it on a hard surface and hammer the bars. This can be problematic. If you don't use enough force, the bars will pop out. If you use too much force you risk damaging the plastic grooves that hold the bars in place. After assembling it, I checked to make sure it was secure, then took it to my garage to find a place to hang it. A few days later I went to hang it up and the bars started popping up. it was difficult to get them back because I had already attached the plastic hooks on both sides. As a reminder, you have to put it on its side to insert the staffs. I had to remove hooks that apparently shouldn't be removed. I broke down doing it. To their credit, I called customer service and got a replacement in less than a week. After compiling it I was finally able to install it. Slightly crooked, but hardly noticeable. I recommend having a second person spot you or using a laser to draw a straight line. Although I was concerned about the bars coming out of the bracket, I believe the metal screws that attach them to the wall will prevent this. After unpacking all of my son's sports equipment from the boxes and putting it on the shelf, I was a bit disappointed. The top shelf is wide enough to hold 3 standard sized basketballs but not 4. The other shelf is closer together and will not hold a full sized basketball but will hold small "souvenir" balls and soccer balls. In short, everything is fine. Not great, not bad. I think it should cost about $10.00 less. I had trouble getting fully inflated soccer balls onto some of the shelves. Some don't fit in others, some do, but there's always extra space, too small for what I need.

Pros
  • Storage Shelves
Cons
  • Expensive
