I originally bought one of these cases for the Samsung S7 and although I had a few issues with it I decided to buy it again for the S9 just to help four loan holders / ID cards (no more than three in all other cases I've seen). It was a mistake, and an oversight in dissatisfaction with the case made it a BIG mistake. First the main problem: the right button on the phone (which turns the screen on and off) doesn't work in this case. All other buttons worked, and there was no apparent reason why the right button shouldn't work - there was no visible damage or difference from the left buttons - so I took the phone out and reinserted it several times, thinking I'd should have made a mistake. About half a dozen times, with increasing frustration, I pulled the phone out again, and it slipped out of my hands and fell to the floor, scratching the bezel. So instead of a new protective case for my phone, I now had a brand new S9 with a scratched front screen. Thanks ara. (I have contacted the seller to see what they will do about this and will leave a separate review for the seller when I hear from them.) Second, there are a few minor issues with this case that I am aware of so far Experiences. . First, credit cards tend to get stuck in your pockets after a while and you have to struggle to get them out. Second, the magnetic closure can damage cards with magnetic strips. Thirdly, the flip case is already impractical for photography, although it is possible; and the shutter strap makes it even more uncomfortable as it wobbles back and forth as you try to mount the lens. To partially solve the last two problems I was planning on cutting off the closure strap, but of course that would mean there was no closure mechanism at all. another case.
